Fire up mouthwatering meats with grilling and B.B.Q. rubs and sauces from old Mad Mike himself. Our company, based in Newton, Texas, is dedicated to making your grilling and/or B.B.Q. experience one you won't soon forget!
Mad Mikes gourmet steak and B.B.Q. sauces are hand made, 28 gallons at a time. Then we hand bottle and hand label them. We use the finest and purest products in the production of these sauces. Organic ketchup, fresh onions and garlic, fresh Habeneros, chamayo chili and a lot of other secret ingredients are blended to perfection.
Mad Mikes spices and rubs are 100% natural, gluten free and low in sodium. Mike hand makes every batch for quality, and he only uses the best and purest spices available with no MSG or fillers. We use sea salt instead of iodized salt and then only in small amounts so your food won’t be over salty, or dried out. If you look on your grocers shelves, you’ll see most of the other spices have salt as their main ingredient. Not ours. Your health and taste are more important. With only a 7% salt content, you can use them in abundance.
The Story of Mad Mike
Mad Mike, the crazy Irishman, went to the doctor a while back and was told his blood pressure was too high. Being one of the “new age” doctors, he suggested Mad Mike spend some time in the Superstition Mountains of the Sonoran desert in Arizona and find the old Indian Shaman that roamed the mountains. Mad Mike took his doctor’s advice and headed to the mountains. Contrary to popular belief, he did not get lost. Mad Mike did find that Shaman who instructed him on how to survive on certain herbs and plants that abound there. He showed him how to spice the fish, deer, and other critters he caught and taught him the value of Sea Salt. Feeling the best he had in years, Mad Mike came down outta them mountains and had the best darn southwest spices, meat rubs, and sauces on the face of the planet.
Shortly thereafter, he felt its pull and rushed to the great state of TEXAS where he mastered bottling his superior gourmet rubs and sauces. Now Mad Mike wants to share them with you good folks, so grab a steak, a chop, some chicken or ribs and just slather that sauce or rub baby rub- your meat of course. So from the crazy Tex-Irishman to you, happy grillin’ and don't stop 'till your tummy can't take no more.
